Investigation of the mechanism of action of 3-(4-bromophenyl)-5acyloxymethyl-2,5-dihydrofuran-2-one against Candida albicans by flow cytometry

Abstrakt

The mode of action of newly synthesized compound 3-(4-bromophenyl)-5-acyloxymetyl-2,5-dihydrofuran-21-onewas investigated by flow cytometry. Experiments suggested that theincrustoporinederivative is potentially fungicidalagainst Candida albicans on basic of the interference with fungal cell membrane.
