Investigation of primary hemostasis in patients treated with LDL-apheresis for severe familiar hypercholesterolemia

Abstract

LDL-apheresis is a therapeutic method used for treating patients with severe hyperlipidemia, it improves hemostasis too. However, investigation of primary haemostasis using PFA-100 analyzer seems to be not suitable to determine the optimal intensity of individual LDL-apheresis procedures (p<0,14).
