Budd-Chiari syndrome and other vascular causes of liver failure

Abstract

Budd-Chiari syndrome is most frequent vascular cause of liver failure treatable by means of TIPS. Results of therapy of 23 patients are discussed from the point of view of chronic or acute liver failure.
