Abstract
The article deals with the occurrence of the Common Crane (Grus grus) in the Czech Republic in both ist aspects: spring and summer occurrence of nesting specimen as well as brief presence of numerous flocks during the autumn migration. After decades of absence, the Crane reemerged in the nature of the Czech Republic as a nesting species.
The return of the Crane is to be reflected in the education of Vertebrata zoology.
