Cito, cito, citissime : The circulation of of patents, circulars and mandates in early modern Bohemia

Abstrakt
The paper deals with the communication in early modern rural societies, namely with circulation of royal orders and mandates in the Bohemian seigniories in the 17th and 18th centuries as a condition for the exercise power. A special attention has been paid to the line between the oral and written communication, represented by village officers responsible for the spread and observance of higher orders.
