In Search of Identity. Austro-Hungarian Female Authors : Slovene Pavlina Pajk and Czech Anna Řeháková

Abstract

In the paper we compare the literary work of two authors: Slovene prose writer Pavlina Pajk and Czech Anna Řeháková. The paper analyses the psychological portraits of the female heroes and their relations of themselves and the others.We find some similarities but also differencies in finding motivs and loking for gender perspectives.

We specially examine the type of narrator. We analyse also the cultural differences in the texts.
