Abstract
The Explanation notes describe geological setting of the Turnov sheet. Extent of individual lithological units is complemented with description of composition and genesis of these rocks.
Sources of anomalies in geophysical image are interpreted as well. Geochemical analyses contributed to the interpretation of genesis of some rocks.
Potential mineral resources, water sources and hazardous phenomenons are described in respective chapters. Numerous landslides represent the most hazardous phenomenons.
