Abstrakt
The first book to provide an overview over applications of proteomics in the discovery of new diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic targets. Examples of applications are presented for the most important diseases like heart and cardiovascular disorders, cancer, infectious diseases and deseases of the nervous system.
Aspects of pharmatoxicology as well as bioinformatics are also included.
