Abstract
Exhaled leukotrienes were assayed in the exhaled breath condensate, for the first time, using a specific gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method. Reference ranges for the concentrations of the respective leukotrienes were characterized in a large group of healthy children and adults and results were compared to those from subjects with bronchial asthma.
