The Cinotepeque Range of central El Salvador: Geology, magma origin, and volcanism

Abstract

The Cinotepeque range consists of several lithological units. Basal rhyolitic ignimbrites are overlain by andesites of two generations separated by RANA pyroclastic flows.

Sequence is crowned by cinder cones.
