Abstract
Based on the results of the sixth national antropology research of children and adolescents there was performed analysis of secular trend of somatic length of children and adolescent bodies in the Czech republic. Time period of the fastest growth is slowly shifting to lower age categories.
Due to influence of external conditions there is not only step by step increasing of body and also fastening of whole developmental phase of the individual until reaching maturity
