Use of Bioactive Glass-ceramics in the Management of Tibial Plateau Fractures

Abstract

Twelve patients tibial plateau fracture were operated. After plateau responsion the deffect was filled by glass-ceramic material.

For better osteointegration autologous bone marrow Was added. The longest follow-up eas 8 years.

Evaluated as excelent and good by Rasmussen criteria.
