The reaction of the subependymal layer of lateral brain ventricles to striatal ibotenic acid lesions in a long-term study

Abstrakt

Reaction of SEL to ibotenic acid lesions (which simulate neurodegenerative processes in Huntington's disease)was studied. Increased proliferation of GFAP-positive astrocytes and CNPase-positive oligodendrocytes was found 5 weeks after surgery.
