Confocal microscopy of chloroplast morphology and ontogeny in three strains of Dictyochloropsis (Trebouxiophyceae, Chlorophyta)

Abstract

Chloroplast morphology and ontogeny in three species of the genus Dictyochloropsis - D. splendida var. splendida, D. reticulata and D. symbiontica - were investigated by using light and confocal microscopy.
