Abstract
The authors describe the administration of different types of artificial nutrition depending on the clinical condition of patients with acute pancreatitis. They summarize contemporary findings on the pathophysiology of the disease, evaluation of everity according to Ranson's criteria and the tactics of nutritional support in acute pankreatitis.
