Agonist-induced tyrosine phosphorylation of Gq/G11 alpha requires the intact structure of membrane domains

Abstract

Stimulation of TRH-R leads to subsequent activation of Gq/G11, which is accompanied by phosphorylation. We have observed that disruption of membrane domain structure (depletion of cholesterol) markedly decreased tyrosine phosphorylation of Gq/G11 alpha
