Abstract
South Slavonic and Balkan Studies with Specialisation in Albanian is a new study programme launched at the Faculty of Arts (Charles University in Prague) from the academic year of 2011/2012 at the B.A. level. Integrated into a larger framework, subjects such as Albanian language, Albanian linguistics, Albanian history and literature are taught hand in hand with those of other South European countries.
In addition to that, a new accreditation material (2012) for the follow-up M.A. programme also counts on Albanian studies and philology.
