Using the notice board to differentiate pupils in problem-solving activities: Designing and validating a practice through action research

Abstrakt

Is it possible to differentiate mathematics teaching even outside class time? The author investigated, proposed and tested the possibility to motivate pupils in the fifth grade to individually solve mathematical problems. The article describes this investigation and offers some partial results.
