The book is the first ever account of medieval Muslim polemics against Judaism and the Hebrew Bible in the Czech language. It aims to present its main polemical topics on the basis of a huge variety of medieval Muslim authors with different agendas, with particular attention paid to the views of two authors: Ibn Hazm of Cordoba and Samaw'al al-Maghribi of Bagdad.
The book is devided into two parts. The first contains a study entitled "Polemics of Islam with Judaism and the Hebrew Bible in the MIddle Ages" and the second contains Czech translations penned by Ibn Hazm and Samaw'al al-Maghribi.
