Abstract
On the poster we presented some less-known tidal effects like tidal acceleration and deceleration, volcanism and cryovolcanism and the existence of a subsurface layer of liquid water which exists on several satellites in our Solar system. We also calculated the magnitude of tidal forces acting on selected planetary satellites with respect to the eccentricities of satellites’ orbits.
