Evaluation of food allergy to wheat flour, cow milk, egg, soy and peanuts in patients older 14 years suffering from atopic dermatitis

Abstract

Our aim is the evaluation of food allergy to egg ´s white and yolk, peanuts, soy, cow ´s milk and wheat and follow - up of patients with confirmed food allergy. Allergy to peanuts suffer 20 % of patients, to egg 6 %, to soy 3 %, to wheat 2,5 % and to milk 0,8 % of patients.

The most common symptoms of food allergy was oral allergy syndrome in 17 % of patients after ingestion of peanuts. The worsening of atopic dermatitis was recorded in 7 % of patients after ingestion of egg, wheat and soy.
