Abstract

The publication is based on tasks from reading, mathematics and science that the teachers can use for problem solving in classes as well as for preparation of tests or to adjust the teaching to individual needs of their students. Tasks are completed by detailed solutions and comments including information about most frequented problems and typical misconceptions.

The analysis of the results of Czech pupils at TIMSS and PIRLS 2011 composes the first part of the publication.
