Abstract

The author draws attentions to some of the pitfalls of the Czech tax system ensuing from the recodification of private law and some of its new legal instruments and concepts. The author illustrates on practical examples that even in seemingly simple issues, it is easy for a lawyer who is not well-versed in the tax law to inconvenience a client with respect to his tax obligations.
