Serious sepsis treatment in intensive care departments in the Czech Republic - EPOSS Project pilot results

Abstract

This is a retrospective, observational, multicentre project including all consecutive patients who meet criteria for severe sepsis within 24 hours after admission to selected participating centers. The project EPOSS in its first phase gained historical first and valuable epidemiological and clinical data in patients with severe sepsis in the Czech Republic.
