Abstract
A total of 1099 cases of occupational diseases were registered in the Czech Republic in 2012. Most of the cured cases occurred in the "mining and quarrying" economic sector (194 cases).
Most of the occupational diseases occured in the Moravian-Silesian region (314 cases). The most frequently noted diagnosis was carpal tunnel syndrome (330 cases).
