Markers of inflammation in breath condensate, urine and plasma during bronchoprovocation tests with occupational allergens

Abstract

Diagnostics of occupational asthma is based on positive results of bronchoprovocation tests with occupational allergens. Twenty persons were tested with suspicion on occupastional asthma.

Except standard tests also leukotriens B4, C4, D4, E4, 8-isoprostane, molondialdehyde and 4-hydroxy-trans-2-nonenal in breath condensate, plasma and urine were analyzed.
