The folk culture. Its use and signification under Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia

Abstract

The chapter analyses the period response to ethnographic activities in Czech society in the Protectorate and their politicisation by the collaborators’ ethnology. The chapter contributed towards demythification of the function of so-called folk culture whilst creating Czech identity in the Protectorate.
