Prospects for the Protection of Human Rights after the Lisbon Treaty in force

Abstract

In his contribution the author explains the EU contribution to the protection of fundamental rights. The author further puts stress on the changes contained in the Lisbon Treaty and elaborates on the perspectives of EU accession to the European Convention on Human Rights.
