Prague - the myth of a Czech and Slavic golden city: Mobilisation of national identity or an anti-German construct?

Abstract

Chapter of the monograph analysed the tradition of mythification of cities using the example of Prague in two key periods of its history: at the start of the eighteen sixties and eighteen eighties, i.e. at the moment of the Czechification of its city council.
