Abstract
Workshop on news in the field of examining and testing in medical education. Participants learned individual steps of preparing, administration and evaluation of tests.
Authors stressed especially blue-printing of a test, types of test items, standard setting and selected procedures of item analysis. Participants tried to write test questions in the form of single best answer (SBA), setting the passed/failed score limit and evaluation of basic characteristics of a test item according to classical test theory (CTT).
