Abstract
The book focuses on the interpretation of the extant sources of the early Pythagoreanism in the 5th century B. C.
To the sources of the Pythagoreans' thinking, which can be considered the part of Presocratic philosophy, belong mainly the fragments of the text attributed to Philolaus of Croton. The second source of the early Pythagoreans' opinions are the testimonies about Aristotle's polemic with his predecessors in the works Metaphysics, Physics, On the Heavens and in the fragments of Aristotle's nonextant book On the Pythagoreans.
The book introduces main principles of the nature limit and unlimited and compare them with evidence in Aristotle's testimonies.
