Abstract

The text examines a specific form of period and contemporary urban folklore. By using examples of song parodies, it tracks changes in the reflections of World War II motifs as well as of motifs of the Protectorate and the Holocaust.

The author examines the contrasts between authentic historical memory and symbolic memory that relates to war and genocide as to a specific symbol or taboo.
