Abstract
The book "Philosophy Underground and Overground" is a collection of texts (essays, historical studies, interviews, memories, reflections etc.) and other materials (e.g. photographs or illustrations, historical documents) devoted first to Czech philosophy in the so-called normalization period, especially to the Prague underground seminars. Secondly, the book covers the following era of the 1990s, when many personalities from the underground appeared in the academic sphere to reestablish the philosophy departments in the universities.
The publication was edited by three philosophy students from Faculty of Arts in Prague - Markéta Bendová, Johana Borovanská and Daniela Vejvodová.
