Abstract
When a dead body is found in the water it cannot be a priori supposed that the cause of death was drowning. There is a wide range of causes of death of a person whose body was drawn out of water and it is influenced by many factors and circumstances.
It is necessary to handle the body in a correct way, to get information about circumstances and conditions at the place of finding and expecially to provide a detailed inspection and autopsy at the forensic medicine department to discover the real cause of death.
