Abstract

This review outlines all major bilingual lexicographic works published until recently in the Czech/Czechoslovak republic. Besides the critical review of the Czech-Arabic dictionary, the author also focuses on some specific problems a lexicographer must face while working on a dictionary of Modern Standard Arabic.
