Abstract

The article deals with a dispute of the priest Tomáš Soběslavský and literati brotherhood at St. Nicholas of the Old Town of Prague that occured in 1589.

It concerned two songs venerating Jan Hus - V naději Boží mistr Hus Jan and Ósvolánie konstanské. The author compares all the extant variants of both texts and tries to prove that there has been used the cantional of Mikuláš Konáč from 1522.
