Bologna Process has been influencing European higher education systems already more than ten years. It is already clear that any European country did not meet all the Bologna goals by 2010 (and the goals it met did definitely not implement to the same extent).
Therefore first and utmost important aim which remains is to finalise what was started and implement the respective visions and policies. This, however, does not mean that the original goals will not be modified.
The first step therefore is to evaluate what has been implemented successfully what has not worked and is necessary to modify. What is important in the Bologna Process today is a change in higher education - so called student-centred learning and understanding higher education in the lifelong learning continuum of an individual.
Both lead to a change in paradigm in perceiving higher education. It is also necessary to realize what the main determinants of changes in the Czech higher education were.
I think there were several, mainly massification and attempts, more or less (not) successful towards diversification of higher education. These changes were not driven by the Bologna Process itself, in some cases the Process served as an inspiration or a catalyst.
