Abstrakt
Almost a year before the new Hungarian Civil Code entered into force on 22 March 2012 the new Czech Civil Code (NOZ). NOZ closes the transitional period following the change of political regime and its concept goes back to the Czech legal tradition.
This critical sketch gives a brief overview of the development of Czech and recodification of private law work, explains the concept and structure of NOZ and presents the most important legal instruments that have been recently introduced.
