Abstract
The case report describes a patient with clinically isolated syndrome diagnosed in 2007. Interferon beta therapy was initiated two months after the onset of first symptoms.
During six years, the therapy was interrupted twice due to the patient's pregnancies. Since then, the course of this disease has been stable, she has had no relapses.
Her neurological status is 0 on Kurtzke Expanded Disability Status Scale. This case report emphasises the importance of early treatment initiation to manage inflammation and preserve the CNS tissue.
