Internal medicine in its competences offers the possibility for the further development of complex care for an aging polymorbid population in the Czech health care system. The potential offered by internal medicine is real, economically feasible and the result of long-standing traditions.

Internal medicine has well-established personnel, the material and technical conditions to maintain and improve the overall health status of our population.
