Abstrakt
The article presents the beginning of Johann Kelleˇs career as a German scholar who was one of the first professors of German language and literature at the Unviersity of Prague. The article pays attention to the first works by Johann Kelle and the contacts between him and other German scholars who where the most important for Johann Kelle´s career.
