The artikle drala with the activities of the St Elisabeth Order Hospital in the New Town of Prague from its foundation at the beginning of the 18th century till the end of that century. Based on the book with the list sof accepted patiens, the artikle gives a view not only of the women state of health in Prague in that period the mortality but also of its social structure.
