Abstract
The article examines the Slavic idea of Juraj Križanić (1617/1618-1683) - the backbone of his activities consisting of his work on recovering Slavic languages, an effort to unite the Catholic and the Orthodox Church and a design of reforms with the goal to strenghten Russian state.
