Abstract
Discussed is Carl Schmitt´s criticism on the doctrine of moral universalism used to justify war in a world where the old Jus Publicum Europeaum was depriciated. The conclusion drawn is that Schmitt´s defence of international pluralism is not acceptable when it means the demolition of basic human rights.
