Abstract
The dissertation analyses communication strategies in Bozena Nemcova's letters. It concentrates on the relational aspect of communication strategies represented by 'pictures' of subjects referring to the author and the reader/listener, the 'picture' of their relationship, and the 'picture' of the depicted world.
