Repellent efficacy of a combination containing imidacloprid and permethrin against sand flies (Phlebotomus papatasi) on dogs

Abstract

Combination of two insecticide, imidacloprid and permethrin, possess repelent and insecticide properties. It protects dogs against sand fly bites for more than 3 weeks.

Therefore the combination is recommended to protect dogs against Leishmania infantum.
