Electronic dissertations and projects and systems of their accessibility

Abstract

The article comprises the analysis of selected electronic dissertations project and system over the world. Described are the NDLTD system (Virginia Tech), Australian Digital Theses Program (ADT), German projects Dissertationen Online and Dissertationen Online and DissOnline.de and French national programme of electronic dissertations registration and dissemination.

Special issues concerning the electronic dissertations formats and metadata are discussed.
