Abstract

Obligatory component of complec therapy of patients with chronic kidney failure is the control of serum phosphorus concentration. It has been documented that hyperphosphatemia is associated with vascular and other extraosseous calcification, with myocardinal damage and overload and with secondary hyperparathyroidism ( which negatively influences not only bones, but also cardiovascular system).
