Abstract
The paper is concerned with the Karel Engliš´s critical and not very known treatiese from august 1917, published in newspaper Lidové noviny (The people newspaper). The treatise polemized with Friedrich Fellner´s estimate of national income of Austrian-hungarian monarchy.
