Abstract
The article deals with a particular type of the Old Kingdom material culture. It collects the evidence on the occurrence of miniature and model stone vessels in the tombs excavated in Abusir.
Based mainly on comparisson method, the author searches for the differences between individual social groups buried at the locality and also attempts to follow a historical development.
